The Crofter's Snug is a great place for young and old to take a break from touring this wonderful part of Scotland. If you're after a window with a view, we can certainly offer one that's hard to beat ...... and those big skies..... Wow!
We cater for up to 5 units with a maximum length of 9m.

Jo and Karina live on site and are ex-caravanners and ex-motorhomers. See here. We look forward to welcoming you and hearing about your adventures and doing everything we can to make your stay a happy one. Karina (the level-headed and lesser-spotted half of the duo) has created this website and does all things admin related so is more often than not hidden away in the office at the end of the phone. On site, it's more probable that you will meet Jo who is uber-friendly and usually to be found outside doing all manner of things and available to answer any queries or just have a thoroughly good chat! :-)

Just left Crofter’s Snug today after a 3 night stay. It was difficult to drive away :( We had a fantastic welcome from the owners, they couldn’t have been more helpful. The views across to the Orkney Islands are breathtaking. Certainly a unique location for a CL. It’s now on our favourite CL list. The site is having a little makeover and is looking good, it can only improve. All the information on the website is worth reading. We managed to cycle to both Dunnet Head and Castle of Mey with only a very short distance on the quiet road. A glorious CL. Allroad2007 May 2022
