2 pods and a shepherd's hut - self catering cabins

Glamping Accommodation

Come back from your day out, surround yourself with stunning scenery and just keep enjoying each other's company. Take a walk from The Crofter's Snug along the coast going west past the Castle of Mey or east to St John's Point all the while looking across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands and spotting the wildlife: sea-birds, seals, otters and dolphins can all be seen at various times of the year. If you're here for a few days then you might go further afield - you might even have booked a trip to The Orkney Islands. However you've spent your day, come back to a cozy evening in our snug accommodation. You'll love it :-)

Reviews

Value for money at this place is incredible - one of the cutest, cosiest little places we have ever stayed with the most beautiful sea view. The hut is immaculate, wonderful shower and wood stove facilities, pictures don’t do it justice until you see it in real life! A real ‘wow’ place. Karina and Jo are so lovely and friendly, we felt so at home and would love to return!

We had a lovely stay! We rented one of the pods, it was really comfortable and well-equipped, with a breath-taking view on the North coast and Orkney. It's been a perfect trip for us and we couldn't recommend it enough. Thanks again!

Wow. Simply wow. Do not miss this place. We are at the end of the world (it's not an image). You can cook in or over a wood fire. Sun setting in the sea.

What an amazing place! Location is perfect. Definitely worth a visit just for the sunrise and an starry night skies. You feel like you have the coastline to yourself. Perfect hosts, with great knowledge of the area, so welcoming and accommodating! Will definitely be coming back

The place and location are breathtaking, we arrived just before sunset and the view blew us away. If this is glamping I just discovered a new way of having my holidays.

Incredible! One of the best places i’ve ever stayed. The pod has everything you need. Communication was excellent and check in was easy. Bonus points for the enclosed pen to let your dog out! Definitely will be back!

Our second visit and each time it just gets better. This time we bought along the mother in law and her partner, they stayed in the shepherds hut and loved it! We all had a fantastic time and to top it off we saw a group of dolphins. We will be seeing you again very soon!
