Peace and quiet awaits in an idyllic location in our cozy snugs with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies. Take a walk from The Crofter's Snug along the coast going west past the Castle of Mey or east to St John's Point all the while looking across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands and spotting the wildlife: sea-birds, seals, otters and dolphins can all be seen at various times of the year. If you're here for a few days then you might go further afield - you might even book a day trip to The Orkney Islands. However you've spent your day, come back to a cozy evening - perhaps toasting marshmallows over the fire or enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple while watching the sun set. You'll love it :-)

Snug One
Snug One was the first to be built in 2016 and was such a big success Snug Two and the Hut soon appeared. Book now to follow in many a weary traveller's footsteps and share our little slice of Highlands heaven.(Snug One is Pet friendly - see T's and C's here)

Snug Two
The main differences between the two pods is that Snug Two has a King rather than double bed, a waterfall shower and a slightly bigger TV. Both have a double sofa bed - ideal for families. A lovely stop on your travels.

Shepherd's Hut
The Hut is the newest addition to the Crofter's Snug family and is just lovely: cozy and deliciously romantic. You will enjoy a different way of cooking using the wood fired stove or just fire it up to keep warm and cozy.

Value for money at this place is incredible - one of the cutest, cosiest little places we have ever stayed with the most beautiful sea view. The hut is immaculate, wonderful shower and wood stove facilities, pictures don’t do it justice until you see it in real life! A real ‘wow’ place. Our second visit and each time it just gets better. This time we bought along the mother in law and her partner, they stayed in the shepherds hut and loved it! We all had a fantastic time and to top it off we saw a group of dolphins. We will be seeing you again very soon!
