The Crofter's Snug Glamping Site - Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing The Crofters Snug and hope you enjoy your stay! Now for the small print......
Your agreement is with The Crofter's Snug and you as the person making this booking and where applicable to every member of your party.

  • We reserve the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct we consider is detrimental to us, or the enjoyment of our other guests with no refund given.

  • Please supervise your children at all times.

  • It is important to us that all our guests enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay with us. We are in a quiet, remote countryside location and guests choose to stay with us because they are seeking to retreat, relax and unwind. To keep this peaceful tranquillity, please avoid any excessive noise, music or radios outside in consideration of other guests.

  • We have an 10pm noise curfew. If you want to party until 2am, then The Crofter's Snug really isn’t the right location for you!

  • We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any property on its premises. Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at the owner’s risk. It is recommended that your insurance covers loss or damage to personal effects.

  • Please drive slowly and carefully once you've turned off the main A836/NC500 road. You will travel on a single-track road with passing places for about a mile coming from either direction. Please be considerate of neighbouring properties on your arrival and departure from the site and be mindful that locals, farmers, and walkers with children and dogs also travel this road.

  • Due to the high fire risk, the use of fireworks, sparklers and Chinese lanterns are not permitted across the entire site, at any time.

  • We have provided recycling bin for recyclable waste and ask that you recycle as much as possible.

BOOKINGS

You must be 18 years of age or over to book accommodation and stay at The Crofter's Snug.

To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of 25% (or full payment) of the cost of your stay is required. Bookings must be paid in full 30 days before your arrival date. If your booking is less than 30 days from the date of your stay the full cost of your visit is required to secure the booking.

When you submit a booking and secure it by way of payment, by doing so it is deemed you accept these terms and conditions of booking. You will receive confirmation of payment by email to the email address you provided at the time of booking. This booking confirmation email forms a contract between you and The Crofter's Snug.

If the balance is not paid by the due date The Crofter's Snug reserves the right to re-let your accommodation and retain the deposit.

The prices featured on the website are not binding. We reserve the right to modify these prices at any time. The price stated on your booking confirmation email is binding.

The Crofter's Snug reserves the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel a booking.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

If you have to cancel your booking, please do so as early as possible so that we may attempt to re-book your accommodation and recover lost income. We strongly recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance cover in place.

Cancellations up to 30 days before your arrival will result in a full refund.

Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival date will result in being charged for the first night and a 100% refund on the remainder of your booking.

Cancellations within 14 days of your booked arrival will not be refunded.

Your booking is only cancelled once you have received a confirmation of cancellation from us in writing. If you email/leave a voicemail to cancel and do not receive a confirmation of cancellation from us within 48 hours, please contact us again as we have not received your message.

The Crofter's Snug holds no responsibility for guests who are unable to attend due to extreme weather or traffic conditions (e.g. snow, flooding, high winds, road traffic accidents/congestion, train delays, etc.). If a guest is unable to reach The Crofter's Snug due to adverse weather conditions or travel issues, you will lose your full payment and an alternative date will not be offered.
